Foods that speed up the metabolism

1. Green tea

Studies have shown that people who drink green tea, which contains antioxidants, burn up to an extra 70-100 calories per day.

2. Don't diet

Eating more frequently. Small meals within 2-3 hours help boost the metabolism. A minimum of 1200 calories should be consumed in a day.

3. Exercise

It's most important factor to increase the metabolism. Intense exercise of for 30 minutes or more should keep the metabolism up.

4. Sleep

Get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep. Studies have shown that you're more likely to gain weight if you seep for less than 6 hours a day. Lack of sleep evaporates your energy levels and therefore lowers your activity.

5. caffeine

Moderate your caffeine intake to 1-2 cups of coffee per day. A cup of coffee can increase your metabolism temporarily by 15%

6. Don't skip Breakfast

Go for a heavy breakfast to increase your energy, appetite the consequently speed up the metabolism.
